A later comment under the same thread admitted, 'I got my ass beat bruh I'm not posting that shit,' and the combined post collected over 55,000 likes across the next two years[5]. The earliest known About To Go Fight I'll Post The Video After edit appeared that same day. Twitter user @zoIuz replaced the woman's picture with Zoro from One Piece shown bracing for a fight, leaving the self-defeating reply intact[2]. That version attracted over 5,000 likes and seeded the template others would copy within days[3]. - **Platform:** Twitter (origin) / Reddit (viral spread) - **Creator:** Unknown - **Date:** 2020 ## Overview Each About To Go Fight I'll Post The Video After edit reproduces the two-part layout of @sadieventts' viral screenshot: a tweet announcing a fight alongside a profile photo, followed by a reply admitting defeat and refusing to share footage[1]. The woman's head and avatar get replaced with a character shown in a confident pre-fight pose, while the second tweet stays unchanged so the punchline survives intact[2]. The joke lands by combining bravado with public humiliation, implying the pictured character caught the same beating described in the reply. Anime subjects dominated the early run, with One Piece, Naruto and Genshin Impact characters anchoring the format inside its first six weeks[3][4]. Later versions moved into Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and other franchises where fans could pick a scene of a character bracing for combat[7][10]. Readers already know the ending by the time they scroll to the reply, which turns the fighter's confidence into the setup for a loss they can only imagine. ## How to Use Editors typically preserve both tweets exactly, including the 'I got my ass beat bruh I'm not posting that shit' reply, and insert a character shown squaring up for a fight in place of the original woman's photo and profile picture[2]. The common convention is to pick a figure whose confidence or power makes the implied off-screen loss funnier, which is why anime fighters and genre-film villains show up often[7]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is About To Go Fight I'll Post The Video After?
