# Aku Sayang Aku Sayang is the TikTok nickname for 'Rindu Semalam' by Titi Kamal, whose 'Aku sayang kamu juga sayang' hook took off in July 2023 after users set it over a 2022 clip of a Roblox 'egg' avatar swinging one leg and lifting both arms skyward. By August 2023, TikTokers were filming real-life recreations of the stiff egg choreography and getting millions of views. ## Origin NAGASWARA uploaded the official music video for Titi Kamal's 'Rindu Semalam' to YouTube on November 9, 2018[1]. The lyric 'Aku sayang kamu juga sayang' appears at the 0:53 mark[2]. On December 29, 2020, TikToker @meylien.thea trimmed the lyric into a short audio clip that became one of the main sounds attached to the trend[10]. On July 19, 2023, TikToker @its_kai0.0k posted a video layering the 'Aku Sayang' audio over a Roblox 'egg' dance clip[4]. @anhdepzai28 uploaded the same combination the same day[5]. The dance footage itself came from TikToker @phonks__, who had uploaded the Roblox egg animation on April 24, 2022, originally set to a Kumalala Savesta sound[3]. - **Platform:** YouTube (song) / TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** Unknown - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview Posts follow a strict sound-plus-visual template. The looped Titi Kamal snippet runs underneath footage of a Roblox avatar, usually the oval 'egg' character from a 2022 Kumalala Savesta clip, moving through a slow, stilted animation: one leg swings outward while both arms rise toward the ceiling[3]. The humor sits in the mismatch between the earnest Indonesian pop vocal[1] and the blocky Roblox movement that defines every Aku Sayang post. Later takes added a second avatar partner, overlaid the clip inside a Facebook-style 'What's on your mind?' frame, or filmed real people copying the choreography move for move[8]. Captions stay sparse, since the whole post rides on the sync between the vocal hook and the awkward dance[6]. ## How to Use A typical post lines up the 'Aku sayang kamu juga sayang' audio with a Roblox avatar performing the one-leg, both-arms-up movement. Common conventions include looping the clip to repeat the hook or placing the result inside a Facebook 'What's on your mind?' overlay. Real-life versions reuse the same stiff, blocky movement style instead of smoothing it out. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Aku Sayang?
