# Christmas Just A Week Away! On September 5, 2020, TikToker @kearamr Duetted a timelapse of someone baking Christmas cookies with the caption "Manifesting," insisting the holiday was only a week off in early September. It sat quietly for over a year before iFunny posters in December 2021 remixed it with absurd objects, turning the catchphrase into a copypasta and a reusable "X Is Next Friday!" video format. ## Origin TikToker @kearamr posted the original Duet on September 5, 2020, pairing a cookie-baking timelapse with her voiceover insisting Christmas was next Friday[1]. She tagged it "Manifesting," and the Duet collected roughly 817,900 plays and 182,800 likes over its first year on the platform[1]. - **Platform:** TikTok (origin) / iFunny (viral spread) - **Creator:** @kearamr - **Date:** 2020 ## Overview The hook is the audio: @kearamr's giddy delivery of "Can you believe it guys, Christmas is next Friday!" sits over whatever the editor wants to be impossibly imminent[1]. iFunny posters leaned into shock replacements, and YouTube remixers layered the sound over Deltarune cutscenes[4] and ironic Walter White recuts[6]. A written copypasta spun off from the same bit, repeating @kearamr's phrasing in plain text with a stand-in for Christmas. By late 2023, @kearamr herself answered the long tail of edits with a December follow-up captioned "The prophecy has been fulfilled once again"[8]. ## How to Use Use @kearamr's original audio or the phrase "X is next Friday!" and point it at something ridiculous or impossible. Video edits typically layer in a new image and sound effect, while the copypasta version repeats her phrasing in text with a replacement object standing in for Christmas. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Christmas Just A Week Away!?
