# Dice Roll Walk Dice Roll Walk is a TikTok trend where creators slow-walk forward while miming a dice shake with one hand, cutting between camera angles timed to an original beat by TikToker toborowitz[1]. Starting October 24th, 2020, the format hit TikTok's trending page by December that year under the #DiceRoll hashtag, with versions from Avan Jogia and Howie Mandel pulling the format into mainstream feeds[4][5]. ## Origin On October 24th, 2020, TikToker toborowitz posted a reply video to a comment asking, "You're actually glowing like what's your secret"[1]. In the response, toborowitz answered, "It's simple really, I just go for a daily dice roll walk," then walked down a street doing the signature shake-and-release motion while the camera cut between angles timed to a beat the creator made themselves[6]. The reply video collected over 7.5 million views and 1.6 million likes in roughly a month, and the audio attached to the post became the sound creators used when copying the format[1]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** toborowitz - **Date:** 2020 ## Overview Each clip opens with a creator walking down a sidewalk or hallway, extending one hand as if shaking an invisible pair of dice while leaning the body toward that same side. On the beat drop of toborowitz's unnamed original audio, the camera cuts to a new angle, and the walker releases the imaginary dice[1]. Most entries string together three to six angle swaps to match the song's hits[6]. Variations include themed costuming such as ski masks, pandemic-era face coverings, and group formations where several people perform the same walk in sync[3][4]. Beyond live-action videos, Roblox and Minecraft players rebuilt the gesture inside their respective game engines, puppeteering characters through the same angle-cut sequence[7]. The #DiceRoll hashtag collected most entries and reached TikTok's trending page in December 2020[6]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Dice Roll Walk?
