# Eggman Pisses on the Moon In July 2018, SnapCube's improvised Sonic Adventure 2 fandub produced a now-infamous bit where a fake Dr. Eggman announces he is urinating on the moon and calls Shadow the Hedgehog a bitch-ass motherfucker. The clip went viral on Twitter in December 2018 after @overlordxord shared it with a Gumball-themed caption, and the audio soon turned into a copypasta reused in Smash Bros. edits and animated recreations. ## Origin On July 18, 2018, the YouTube channel SnapCube uploaded "Sonic Adventure 2 (Dark Story + Final Story) | Real-Time Fandub Games," a group fandub in which cast members improvised voices over the game's cutscenes[3]. During the Dark Story segment, Alfred Coleman, who posts on Twitter as PaperBoxHouse, delivered the ad-libbed Eggman address about urinating on the moon and calling Shadow a bitch-ass motherfucker[2]. By February 2019 the video had logged more than 600,000 views[2]. - **Platform:** YouTube (SnapCube) / Twitter (viral spread) - **Creator:** SnapCube (Alfred Coleman / PaperBoxHouse as Eggman) - **Date:** 2018 ## Overview Eggman Pisses on the Moon, also known as Shadow the Hedgehog Is a Bitch-Ass Motherfucker or the Eggman Announcement Copypasta, is a snippet of improvised dialogue from a SnapCube Real-Time Fandub of Sonic Adventure 2 cutscenes[1]. In the bit, voice actor Alfred Coleman, performing as Dr. Robotnik, delivers a mock villain monologue declaring that he has urinated on the moon and insulting Shadow in the same breath[2]. The audio got lifted out of the fandub and pasted over unrelated footage, with fans dubbing it onto Super Smash Bros. Ultimate scenes, SpongeBob reaction shots and newly drawn animations of the original cutscene[2]. The lines themselves also circulated as plain text, used anywhere a user wanted a chaotic Eggman cold open. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Eggman Pisses on the Moon?
