# Favorite Candy, Reese's Pieces or Them Lifesaver Gummies "Favorite Candy, Reese's Pieces or Them Lifesaver Gummies" is a September 2022 TikTok sound from @midgetmafiaog, who answered a viewer's question about his favorite candy by naming the two but pronouncing "Reese's Pieces" as "Reesey Peeseys"[1]. Within ten days the original clip hit about 12.4 million plays, and by late September 2022 creators were lip-dubbing the audio with Sing-a-ma-jig puppets and chopping it into slowed shitpost edits[3]. ## Origin TikTok user @midgetmafiaog posted the source clip on September 16, 2022, as a comment-response video addressing the prompt "what's your favorite candy and chips?"[1]. His reply named Reese's Pieces and Lifesaver gummies, with the aside that "you give me a bag of them, they're gone," though it was the "Reesey Peeseys" pronunciation of the first candy that drew the attention, and the TikTok reached about 12.4 million plays and 1.4 million likes over its first ten days[3]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** midgetmafiaog - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview The joke rides on @midgetmafiaog's casual drawl and the pile of mispronunciations he throws out, "Rhesus Pieces, Reesy Peesys, Reecey's Pieceys, Reesey's Peesies, Recey Peceys," before admitting a whole bag would be gone instantly[1]. On TikTok the Favorite Candy clip works as a reusable sound: users film themselves lip-dubbing to the audio, or make a toy, puppet or still image appear to "speak" it, which plays up the goofy phonetics of the mangled brand name[4]. A separate strand of reuse strips the lip-sync entirely. Creators slow the audio down and run it under unrelated shitpost footage, where the stretched vowels on "Recey pecey" handle the comedy on their own[5]. The video's title language, like "Recey pecey slowed," circulated on TikTok as a short caption that referred back to the original without quoting the full line[2]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Favorite Candy, Reese's Pieces or Them Lifesaver Gummies?
