# God Damn It, I Fucking Suck At Guns God Damn It, I Fucking Suck At Guns is a catchphrase lifted from Zach Cregger's 2026 Resident Evil film, where medical courier Bryan Hodukavich (Austin Abrams) fumbles an easy pistol shot at a padlock. The line went viral within 24 hours of the September 18, 2026 theatrical release, spawning TikTok edits, Instagram fan art and self-deprecating captions about bad video game aim. ## Origin Zach Cregger's Resident Evil opened in theaters on September 18, 2026, with Austin Abrams playing lead character Bryan Hodukavich, a medical courier dropped into a survival horror scenario[3]. Hodukavich yells the line after missing a close-range pistol shot at a padlock, framing the character's gun ineptitude as a running joke across the film. Sony Pictures had already teased the moment in a May 21, 2026 behind-the-scenes YouTube clip titled 'Zach Cregger on Survival Horror,' which later topped 220,000 views[1]. One of the earliest standout fan art pieces came from Instagram user @joshuaboydston on September 19, 2026, who styled Abrams and the quote as a stylized retro movie poster that collected over 2,000 reposts in a month[5]. - **Platform:** Film (Resident Evil) / TikTok and Instagram (viral spread) - **Creator:** Zach Cregger (line author, as screenwriter and director of Resident Evil) - **Date:** 2026 ## Overview God Damn It, I Fucking Suck At Guns, also known simply as the I Suck At Guns Meme, is a line of dialogue from Zach Cregger's 2026 Resident Evil adaptation shouted by Austin Abrams after his character blows an easy pistol shot[1]. Most posts use either the clip itself, a GIF of the outburst or a still of Abrams mid-grimace as a reaction to any task someone keeps botching, from flubbed video game shootouts to missed free throws[4]. Fan artists restyled the moment as mock horror movie posters with the quote across the bottom, while TikTok edits layer the audio over gameplay footage of missed headshots[5]. Bryan Hodukavich is written as a bumbling medical courier whose repeated firearm failures across the film give the catchphrase its self-deprecating sting[3]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is God Damn It, I Fucking Suck At Guns?
