# Heidi Klum's Worm Costume
Heidi Klum's Worm Costume refers to the hyper-realistic human-sized worm outfit the supermodel wore to her 22nd annual Hallowe'en Party on October 31, 2022. Photos surfaced on Twitter the next morning and inspired captioned reaction posts, with users invoking the 'Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm?' meme and crowning Klum the Halloween queen all over again.
## Origin
Klum has hosted her 'Hallowe'en Party' every year since 2000, and her costumes escalated from a Lady Godiva outfit in 2001 to a werewolf transformation that took seven hours in the makeup chair, then a $10 million clone bit in 2016 [1]. On October 31, 2022, her 22nd annual party was held at Sake No Hana in New York, and she arrived as a giant worm with Tom Kaulitz dressed as a bloodied fisherman, while Elon Musk and Julia Fox attended as guests [8].
Getty photographers captured the full costume on the carpet, and the ExtraTV Twitter account posted one of the earliest viral photo tweets just after midnight on November 1, reaching roughly 7,300 likes within a day [2]. Klum also uploaded two of her own worm videos to Instagram on October 31 before the event, each clearing 100,000 likes within hours [9].

## Overview
Posts in the format typically combine Getty red carpet shots of Klum, who could barely walk in the segmented pink and brown suit, with absurd captions that address her as literally a worm. Many riffs connect to the 'Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm?' question, since Klum's husband Tom Kaulitz attended as a wounded fisherman and stayed in character the whole night [3][5].
Other variations use the 'You Must Be X If You Think We Fuckin'' snowclone or screenshot Klum's deadpan USA Today red carpet interview, where she answered reporter questions through the worm face hole [7]. The tone sits between genuine admiration for the commitment and ironic bafflement that a supermodel chose to spend the night as an invertebrate.
## How to Use
The format works best as a one-image reaction with an absurd caption, often juxtaposing Klum's extreme costume commitment against something mundane. Common conventions include captioning Getty shots of the couple with 'Would You Still Love Me If I Was A Worm?' dialogue, applying the 'You Must Be X If You Think We Fuckin'' snowclone over her face, or sharing stills from her USA Today interview with reaction text.
