# Hell Nah Cuh Hell Nah Cuh, also known as Hell Nah Cuz, is a high-pitched soundbite from content creator k3frmsw that TikTok users layered over 2016 footage of a raccoon charging at someone with a broom. TikToker @kymanss1 posted the mashup on September 23rd, 2026, and within a month the edit inspired Roblox recreations, slideshow posts crediting the raccoon as the actual speaker, and Instagram Reels variants featuring Rocket Raccoon. ## Origin On January 10th, 2014, YouTuber Hirashirou uploaded a video titled 'hell nah cuz.avi,' described as a reupload of a clip by a creator called k3frmsw who no longer has an active online presence[1]. In the audio, k3frmsw repeats the phrase in a strained high-pitched voice, and the 2014 upload reached over 61,000 views across the next 12 years[4]. Joe Matos uploaded the raccoon half of the Hell Nah Cuh meme separately on July 17th, 2016, in a YouTube video titled 'Mama raccoon in my garbage'[2]. Those two clips sat independently online until TikToker @kymanss1 edited them together on September 23rd, 2026, with the mashup reaching over 1.7 million views within a month[3]. - **Platform:** YouTube (2014 audio, 2016 raccoon clip) / TikTok (viral mashup, 2026) - **Creator:** k3frmsw (audio) and Joe Matos (raccoon footage); @kymanss1 made the viral mashup - **Date:** 2014 ## Overview Edits typically preserve Joe Matos's 2016 raccoon footage and sync k3frmsw's squeaky 'Hell nah cuh' to the exact moment the raccoon lunges, so the line reads as the animal refusing to be chased off[2][3]. The pitch of the delivery matches the raccoon's abrupt change in direction, and some posts lean into that reading by captioning the raccoon as the one speaking[6]. Beyond the straight audio-over-video edit, the Hell Nah Cuh format spread into Roblox recreations[7] and crossover edits that place Marvel's Rocket Raccoon beside the broom encounter[8]. ## How to Use A typical post syncs k3frmsw's 2014 audio to the exact frame where Joe Matos's raccoon turns and charges, so the raccoon appears to say the line[2][3]. Common variations include Roblox recreations, slideshow explainers crediting the raccoon as the speaker, and overlays of fictional raccoon characters like Rocket Raccoon[7][8]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Hell Nah Cuh?
