# I Ain't Reading All That (TikTok Sound) I Ain't Reading All That is a TikTok sound originally recorded by @thecubancrusher in December 2022, built around a rant about refusing to read a wall of text. The audio took off that same month when TikToker @fwtemuu paired it with a slowed and reverbed Playboi Carti beat and used it to roast the length of the One Piece manga, kicking off thousands of copycat videos through January 2023. ## Origin On December 12th, 2022, TikToker @thecubancrusher posted a video shouting, "I ain't reading all that. You also ain't gettin' no bitches 'cause you read at a third-grade level and your mom slept with the principal just to get you passed middle school," with a text overlay reading "I ain't reading allat"[5]. The clip gathered roughly 1.4 million plays and 242,100 likes within a month[1]. Two weeks later, on December 26th, 2022, TikToker @fwtemuu grabbed the audio and layered it over a slowed and reverbed cut of Playboi Carti's "JumpOutTheHouse"[3]. @fwtemuu's video flipped through chapters of the One Piece manga before cutting to Naruto images, framing the One Piece reader's grind as the exact thing the sound was mocking[2]. That edit pulled roughly 354,300 plays and 33,600 likes in its first month[1]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** @thecubancrusher - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview I Ain't Reading All That, also written I Ain't Reading Allat, works as an audio punchline on TikTok. Creators pair the sound with footage of something tedious to read, usually a wall of chat messages, a dense homework page, or long manga panels, and the clip plays as the narrator's refusal to engage with any of it[1]. The concept echoes a 2020 reaction image of the same name that circulated on Twitter, which the TikTok version reworked into audio form[1]. The most popular edits lean on a slowed and reverbed flip of Playboi Carti's "JumpOutTheHouse" that TikToker @fwtemuu attached to @thecubancrusher's original rant[2][3]. That remix became the version other creators reused, with the music tag reading "i aint reading allat – temuu" on the sound page[4]. Typical videos sit between five and fifteen seconds and let the viewer scroll through a comically long block of text while the audio sneers over it. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is I Ain't Reading All That (TikTok Sound)?
