# I Know You're Here Dracula You Big Fucking Nerd An October 2018 Facebook photoshop of a 1988 Moon Knight comic panel, where the vigilante stomps down Shroud's castle staircase demanding that Dracula hand over his money, became one of the stickiest Moon Knight gags on social media. By January 2022, the Facebook page Marvel Cinematic World's share of the original edit collected over 16,000 reactions in the weeks before the Oscar Isaac Disney+ series premiered. ## Origin The source panel comes from Solo Avengers issue three, published by Marvel in February 1988, which sends Moon Knight to Shroud's castle on a lead involving Dracula[8]. On October 9, 2018, the Facebook page Moon Knight-Core edited the staircase panel with the caption, "I know you're here, Dracula, you big fucking nerd. Where's my goddamn money?," and the post collected over 1,800 shares as it circulated through comic book meme circles[2]. - **Platform:** Facebook (Moon Knight-Core) / Twitter (viral spread) - **Creator:** Moon Knight-Core (Facebook page) - **Date:** 2018 ## Overview Every edit keeps the same base visual, Moon Knight descending the stone staircase with his cape behind him, and plugs new text into his dialogue so he is yelling at whoever the poster wants to insult. The gag works on the gap between the solemn 1988 artwork and the modern phrasing of a brooding superhero captioned with the deadpan rudeness of a man calling a famous horror villain a nerd who owes him money[1]. Remixes range from a Castlevania redraw to Greek mythology and Elder Scrolls crossovers, with the Moon Knight-Core Facebook page itself posting follow-ups that put Captain Atom and other characters in the frame[2][3]. YouTube voiceover edits later gave the lines actual delivery, folding the panel into Moon Knight compilation videos[9]. ## How to Use Posters typically keep the Moon Knight staircase panel intact and rewrite the dialogue so the hero is shouting at a different target, often a villain, celebrity or politician the poster finds silly. Common convention keeps the demand for money or an explanation, which preserves the deadpan rudeness that made the original caption land[1]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is I Know You're Here Dracula You Big Fucking Nerd?
