# IndiHome Paket Phoenix IndiHome Paket Phoenix, also known as IndiHome Paket Streamix, is a parody Indonesian commercial featuring workers Mas Agus and Mas Pras pitching fake internet plans while dancing to a remix of Hendro Engkeng's "Goyang Ubur Ubur." An unknown Surabaya netizen uploaded the 30-second edit to YouTube on April 30th, 2020, and by late May Facebook users across Indonesia were deploying the clip as a bait-and-switch punchline that cut from unrelated footage straight into Mas Agus's grinning face. ## Origin On April 30th, 2020, an unidentified netizen from Surabaya uploaded the edited commercial to YouTube, overlaying personal contact details and the "Goyang Ubur Ubur" DJ remix onto footage of IndiHome field workers Mas Agus and Mas Pras[1]. The source song by Hendro Engkeng had already circulated among Indonesian TikTok users during late 2019[4], giving the edit a soundtrack viewers already associated with viral dance clips. The original upload was later taken down, though reuploads of the 30-second ad have stayed accessible on YouTube[5]. IndiHome itself did not create the parody, the company only launched the underlying Phonix and Streamisxs plans in December 2019 as regular service packages[3]. - **Platform:** YouTube (origin) / Facebook (viral spread) - **Creator:** Unknown - **Date:** 2020 ## Overview In the 30-second clip, Mas Agus and Mas Pras appear on-screen alongside their own inserted photos and a phone number, pitching two IndiHome packages while throwing shocker and shaka hand gestures in time with a DJ remix of "Goyang Ubur Ubur"[1]. The joke hinges on the fact that "Paket Phoenix" does not actually exist in the IndiHome catalog, the real plan names were Phonix and Streamisxs, which adds a layer of amateur-ad charm to the whole thing[1]. Indonesian editors turned the clip into a bait-and-switch template, splicing Mas Agus's face into unrelated videos so viewers get yanked out of whatever they were watching and dropped into the dancing-salesmen pitch[2]. A typical edit opens with normal footage, gaming clips, movie scenes, song intros, and jump-cuts to Mas Agus mid-grin as the "Goyang Ubur Ubur" bassline kicks in. The underlying products were real IndiHome internet plans that the provider announced on its official social channels back in December 2019[3]. ## How to Use To make a version, editors typically take any ordinary video, a music video, gameplay, a vlog intro, and cut abruptly to the Mas Agus and Mas Pras clip once the beat drops, letting the audio hijack the viewer's expectations. Common convention is to leave the inserted photos and phone number on-screen intact for the full punchline effect, since those homemade overlays are part of what makes the ad look so chaotic[2]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is IndiHome Paket Phoenix?
