# Katt Williams' "You Have An Unnatural Allegiance To Losers" A barbed line from Katt Williams' explosive January 2024 sit-down with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, delivered while the comedian tore into Faizon Love and other peers he accused of shielding mediocrity. Within days of the interview airing on January 3rd, 2024, the clip was ripped from YouTube and reborn on TikTok as a reaction sound for exes, estranged friends and divine intervention. ## Origin Comedian Katt Williams sat down with Shannon Sharpe for an episode of Club Shay Shay that aired on YouTube on January 3rd, 2024, and spent much of the nearly three-hour conversation naming peers he accused of coasting on reputation, including Faizon Love[5]. When Sharpe defended Love, Williams responded with the line, "You having an unnatural allegiance to losers is not like you," a moment that watchers immediately flagged as the interview's sharpest aside[1]. A standalone cut of the exchange was uploaded to YouTube on January 7th, 2024, by The Sicarah Show, giving the moment an isolated clip for people to rip audio from and quote directly[5]. Williams himself is the author of the line, not a remixer of a pre-existing format, so credit sits with him rather than with the earliest TikTok poster. - **Platform:** YouTube (origin interview) / TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** Katt Williams - **Date:** 2024 ## Overview The phrase comes from a mid-interview exchange where Shannon Sharpe tried to push back on Katt Williams' criticism of Faizon Love, and Williams flatly told him, "You having an unnatural allegiance to losers is not like you"[1]. Online, the sentence got clipped down to just the "unnatural allegiance to losers" portion, which is the shape it took on as a reaction sound[2]. On TikTok, the audio usually plays over a text overlay that names whoever the poster feels loyal to against their better judgment, whether that is an ex, a toxic friend group or God Himself[3]. Lip-sync posts have creators mouthing Williams' delivery straight to camera, while skit versions stage the line as something a sibling, therapist or inner monologue says back to the user[4]. The humor leans on Williams' precise, almost schoolteacherly cadence, which makes the insult feel surgical rather than loud. ## How to Use Posters typically drop the audio over a reflective caption that names a person, habit or deity the user is accusing of favoritism toward "losers," often with the text layered over a selfie, a POV shot or a reaction face. A common convention is to point the line inward, mock-scolding yourself for staying attached to someone who doesn't deserve the loyalty. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Katt Williams' "You Have An Unnatural Allegiance To Losers"?
