# Litmus Test For Social Class Litmus Test For Social Class, also known as Which Is More Attractive?, is a Twitter catchphrase from June 2023 that frames a choice between two people or items as supposed proof of the picker's social standing. User @Lameypilled kicked it off by posting Livvy Dunne beside Breckie Hill with a fake 2018 study backing the claim. Within two days, hornyposters remixed the setup with femboy characters and older suggestive meme imagery. ## Origin On June 24th, 2023, Twitter user @Lameypilled posted a side-by-side of LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne and TikToker Breckie Hill, writing that the image was 'a pretty good litmus test of your social class: Which one of these people do you think is more attractive?'[1]. @Lameypilled followed up with a Twitter poll and a fabricated 2018 study suggesting that picking Breckie Hill meant lower social status[3]. Before the tweet was deleted, it collected more than 3,200 likes, 1,700 retweets and 1,500 replies[3]. The posting style traced back to the earlier A Pretty Good Litmus Test for Politics format, which @Lameypilled retooled for hornyposting instead of political takes[3]. - **Platform:** Twitter - **Creator:** @Lameypilled - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview A typical post stacks two images side by side under the line 'This image is a pretty good litmus test of your social class: Which one of these people do you think is more attractive?' The bit works through hidden assumptions, where picking the 'wrong' option supposedly reveals the chooser as lower class or otherwise undesirable[1]. Some posters attach a fabricated academic study or chart to give the setup mock authority[3]. The format borrows directly from A Pretty Good Litmus Test for Politics but trades political takes for horny or lifestyle choices[3]. Common pairings include two influencers, two anime characters, or two body types, with the picker's answer treated as a confession about their taste. The two-image, one-question structure made the bit easy to copy across Twitter's hornyposting circles[2]. ## How to Use Posters typically place two images next to each other and ask which is more attractive, often adding a fake chart or study for mock credibility. Pairings range from influencers and anime characters to older meme images, with the answer presented as a signal of taste or class[2][4]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Litmus Test For Social Class?
