# Lois Running From Burning Plane Lois Running From Burning Plane, also known as Lois Tomb Raider Mod, is a four-second viral clip where a low-poly Lois Griffin from Family Guy sprints from a crashing plane while screaming 'PETAAAH,' taken from a fan mod of Crystal Dynamics' 2013 Tomb Raider. Game developer @gunsgoldcontrol posted it to Twitter on February 9, 2023, where it hit 12 million views within ten days[1]. By mid-February, Twitter users were captioning the clip with 'how it feels to X' lines about pre-smartphone travel, period routines, and other mundane panics[4]. ## Origin On March 5, 2013, Crystal Dynamics released Tomb Raider for Windows, PS3 and Xbox 360, featuring a scripted chase in which Lara Croft escapes a flaming plane that explodes behind her[6]. Nearly a decade later, on February 9, 2023, Twitter user and game developer Dmitry K., posting as @gunsgoldcontrol, shared a modded version of that scene with a low-poly Lois Griffin standing in for Lara and a dubbed 'PETAAAH' voice-over[1]. The clip gathered more than 19,000 likes and 12 million views in roughly ten days[5]. - **Platform:** Twitter - **Creator:** Dmitry K. (@gunsgoldcontrol) - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview The humor relies on a visual mismatch: a blocky, PS1-era Lois Griffin stand-in jogs through the cinematic 2013 Tomb Raider setpiece while a dubbed 'PETAAAH' scream replaces Lara Croft's dramatic yelps[6]. The gag lands because the primitive 3D model looks nothing like the modern game around her, and Lois's shrill Family Guy delivery clashes with the action-movie staging of the chase[5]. Posts typically use the clip as a reaction video with overlaid text describing a stressful or embarrassing everyday scenario. Captions follow the 'how it feels to X' or 'me when X' templates, with topics ranging from errands without GPS to leaving the shower mid-period, and the comedy comes from matching Lois's over-the-top panic to small, relatable triggers[3][4]. ## How to Use Users typically caption the clip with a mundane but stressful scenario, letting Lois's screaming run supply the reaction. Common conventions include openers like 'how it feels to X,' 'me when X,' or 'this is what X feels like,' with the joke sharpening the smaller and more relatable the triggering situation is. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Lois Running From Burning Plane?
