# “Love You So” by The King Khan & BBQ Show “Love You So” by The King Khan & BBQ Show is a 2004 garage rock love song by the Canadian duo that got a second life on TikTok in early 2022. By spring 2022 the track was powering the "All My Profiles" trend and so many algorithm-chasing videos that creators started muting the audio while still attaching it, which eventually triggered a wave of backlash posts about its overuse. ## Origin The song "Love You So" was track five on The King Khan & BBQ Show LP, released on September 29th, 2004 by the Canadian garage duo King Khan and Mark Sultan[1]. The earliest known upload of the track to YouTube was a live recording posted by the channel ShayC on November 13th, 2006, which collected around 34,800 views over the following sixteen years[3]. A later studio audio upload from June 2018 pulled roughly 1 million views and 38,000 likes[4]. The song had no meme footprint until TikTok picked it up in late 2021, with the identity of the first TikToker to attach the sound effectively lost in the millions of videos that followed[5]. - **Platform:** Vinyl LP (2004) / TikTok (viral spread 2022) - **Creator:** King Khan and Mark Sultan (songwriters); earliest viral TikTok use by @joyceirl - **Date:** 2004 ## Overview “Love You So” is a doo-wop flavored garage track written by King Khan and Mark Sultan for The King Khan & BBQ Show's 2004 self-titled LP[1]. Decades after release the song found a strange second audience on TikTok, where its soft opening line was clipped as a backing track for sentimental face reveals, pet videos, and relationship edits starting in late 2021[5]. The sound got pinned to one specific format: the "All My Profiles" trend, in which users cut between front, side, and back angles of their face while the song swells underneath[2]. That pairing was so sticky that creators who had nothing to do with the trend started attaching the audio to unrelated videos, often muted, under the belief that TikTok's recommendation system was weighting clips tagged with it[6]. By spring 2022 the track had an estimated 11.7 million videos attached to it, which pushed the response from affection into open irritation[5]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is “Love You So” by The King Khan & BBQ Show?
