# My Bitch Pose Is Nasty TikTok creator @officialgahmir filmed himself hyping a retail store mannequin on February 6, 2024, delivering the line, 'My bitch pose is nasty. Don't ever play with the cat.' The audio spread across TikTok through spring and summer 2024, with over 132,000 videos pairing the voiceover to cats, celebrities and striking poses by August. ## Origin On February 6, 2024, TikTok content creator @officialgahmir uploaded a short clip from inside a retail store, filming a mannequin and voicing, 'My bitch pose is nasty. Don't ever play with the cat'[1]. The video gathered more than 14 million plays and 2.9 million likes over the following nine months[3]. Gahmir's cadence, part flex and part street interview, is what carried the sound beyond the original clip. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** @officialgahmir - **Date:** 2024 ## Overview The joke works as a soundbite template. Creators lay @officialgahmir's audio over footage of any subject caught in a confident, dramatic or absurd stance, letting his hype delivery praise the pose[1]. Subjects range from house pets lounging oddly to musicians and cartoon characters mid-strut[2]. Humor comes from the gap between a mundane subject and gahmir's over-the-top street-interview cadence. On X, users borrow the phrase as a text caption on celebrity photos, often paparazzi shots or stage pictures[4]. The second half of the quote, about 'the cat,' gave the audio a built-in excuse for actual cat videos, which became one of the common formats on TikTok[3]. ## How to Use Pair @officialgahmir's audio with footage of any subject in a striking stance. Typical choices include pets, celebrity red carpet shots and friends posing in bold outfits. On X, people also use the phrase as a text caption beneath a dramatic image. Because of the second line about 'the cat,' real cat poses became the common convention on TikTok. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is My Bitch Pose Is Nasty?
