# My Horny Ass Could Not X A Twitter joke from September 2021 about living next to SpongeBob SquarePants and his many holes turned into one of the stickiest phrasal templates of 2022, with users filling in the X with any character or job their imaginary libido could not survive. The format jumped from SpongeBob to Squidward, the Man with the Yellow Hat, Guy Fieri and beyond, becoming a go-to bit for absurd thirst jokes on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. ## Origin On September 25th, 2021, Twitter user @uzayvert posted, 'My horny ass couldn't live w spongebob, bro got waaaayyy too many holes,' alongside laughing and yellow-square emoji[1]. The tweet picked up roughly 28,600 likes over the following months and set the exact cadence later posters would copy almost word for word[3]. The next day, September 26th, 2021, Twitter user @YCP4EVRRR posted a near-identical copycat that pulled about 5,400 likes in eight hours before the account deleted it, and the meme page @imquackin reposted a matching Facebook version from user Violet Antetokounmpo that pushed the line out to Instagram audiences[2]. - **Platform:** Twitter (origin) / Instagram and TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** @uzayvert (Twitter) - **Date:** 2021 ## Overview My Horny Ass Could Not X is a snowclone where the X slot gets filled with a cartoon character, celebrity, job or setting the poster claims their uncontrollable thirst could not handle[1]. The joke lives in the gap between the ridiculous object of attraction (a sponge, a cartoon squid, the Man with the Yellow Hat) and the mock-exasperated tone of the confession, usually sealed with crying-laughing or facepalm emoji[3]. Most entries follow the shape 'my horny ass could not live next to / live with / work at / have X,' and the funnier the X, the better the post tends to perform[6]. Earlier variants fixated on SpongeBob SquarePants characters, especially the running bit about SpongeBob having too many holes, before creators started plugging in any random media figure that invited an unwanted horny read[2]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is My Horny Ass Could Not X?
