The song's structure gives separate verses to Edwin Murray, David Sean Murray and The Mimic, framing the lore of Secret of the Mimic through character-sung monologues[1]. Scott Cawthon's studio makes the FNAF games and books that supply the lore; XTRATUNA is a fan musician who wrote and produced the song independently, and the "My Name Is David" lyric came directly from their David verse[1][3]. - **Platform:** YouTube (origin) / TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** XTRATUNA - **Date:** 2024 ## Overview "My Name Is David," also called "Jackie's Box" FNAF Mimic Song, is a fan-made track built around characters tied to The Mimic, the villain of the upcoming game Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic and the Tales from the Pizzaplex book series[1]. XTRATUNA writes verses for Edwin Murray, David Sean Murray and The Mimic itself, each with a distinct vocal performance that leans into the lore[1][3]. The viral hook is David's deadpan verse, where he introduces himself with the flat line "My name is David" and then responds to a child asking for ice cream by repeating that his name is, in fact, David[2][7]. Fans quote the exchange as a shorthand for stilted FNAF dad dialogue, and short clips of the verse are circulated more often than the full song[2][4]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is My Name Is David?
