# Oh Princess Where Are You Oh Princess Where Are You, also known as Oh Pwincess, is a TikTok audio from a June 2024 skit by @bofem, who plays a fedora-wearing VR gamer baby-talking a threat at an imagined princess. The 'virtual backshot time' line turned into a lip-dub sound used over 89,000 times by April 2025, soundtracking videos including an overhead-angle dog clip that got 78.5 million views. ## Origin TikToker @bofem posted the source video on June 24, 2024. In the roughly 10-second clip, he lies on his stomach wearing a fedora and a VR headset, kicks his bare feet in the air, and says in a baby voice, 'Oh pwincess, where are you? You can run but you can't hide. It's virtual backshot time,' then claps his feet together[1]. The video reached over 10 million views within its first ten months, and the audio was credited on TikTok as 'original sound – Bofem'[4]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** @bofem - **Date:** 2024 ## Overview The humor rests on @bofem's exaggerated 'neckbeard' character, a stock internet archetype of a socially awkward man fixated on fictional 'princesses' in anime or games[1]. His baby-talk delivery, the fedora, the bare feet clapping together while prone, and the VR headset act as a sendup of parasocial gamer behavior taken to a dark joke. On TikTok, the audio travels mostly as a lip dub: creators mouth the words themselves while filming something that lets the line read as absurd or menacing in context. Formats split roughly in two. Some use pets, animals or inanimate objects as the 'princess' being hunted, with the audio set against a harmless or cute visual for contrast[3]. Others match the sound to clips of real-world awkwardness like gaming at a fast-food restaurant, so the words serve as narration for the behavior on screen[2]. ## How to Use Typical posts use @bofem's audio as a lip-dub soundtrack over a static or absurd visual. Common conventions include filming a pet or object from an overhead or 'POV' angle so the viewer feels addressed as the 'princess'[3], or pairing the sound with a candid clip of socially awkward public behavior like @ales.9's gaming edit[5]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Oh Princess Where Are You?
