# Raccoon Dancing in a Circle Raccoon Dancing in a Circle, also known as 'Pedro Pedro Pedro', is a viral clip of a baby raccoon bobbing up and down while a camera orbits around him. TikToker @fleksa30 first posted the footage in September 2023 set to a Russian pop track, but the video exploded in March 2024 after creators set it to the EDM remix of 'Pedro' by Raffaella Carrà. By late March, parody edits were hitting several million views on TikTok and getting re-uploaded to YouTube and Instagram. ## Origin On September 23rd, 2023, TikTok user @fleksa30 uploaded footage of his pet raccoon dancing inside a circular frame, scored to 'Kak Dela?' by MZLFF & LIDA[1]. The upload reached roughly 9.3 million views and 1.9 million likes within seven months of being posted[4]. - **Platform:** TikTok (origin), TikTok / Instagram (viral spread) - **Creator:** @fleksa30 - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview In the circle-format shot, the baby raccoon stays near the edge of the frame as the camera orbits him in a steady loop, giving the illusion that he is spinning while dancing[1]. He bobs rhythmically and lifts a paw into the air, a motion creators sync to the beat of whatever track they overlay[3]. Observers have compared the energy to the CatJAM emote, another looping animal reaction set to music[4]. Raccoon Dancing in a Circle edits typically use the EDM remix of Raffaella Carrà's 1980 hit 'Pedro', with the three 'Pedro' hits in the chorus lining up to the raccoon's paw lifts[3]. Captions often turn the clip into a joke about car sound systems, oversized bass setups, or any scenario where a repetitive hook feels disproportionate to the setup[5]. Parody versions preserve the orbiting camera motion but replace the raccoon with other animals, characters or edited subjects[7]. ## How to Use Creators typically take the original circle-format clip of the raccoon spinning along the frame edge, use the EDM remix of 'Pedro' by Raffaella Carrà as audio, and align the raccoon's paw lifts with the three 'Pedro' hits in the hook[3]. Captions commonly describe exaggerated scenarios where the beat feels disproportionate to the subject, like oversized subwoofers, loud car audio, or absurd late-night cravings[5]. Parody versions substitute the raccoon with another animal or character while preserving the orbiting camera motion[7]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Raccoon Dancing in a Circle?
