# Rachel Sennott's "Fatima" Rachel Sennott's "Fatima," also called Fatima In a White Way, is a running joke from a July 2023 tweet claiming the American actress looks like she is named Fatima but white. It sat quietly until November 2024, when Sennott addressed the nickname in an Entertainment Tonight interview and producer Jordan Firstman invented a bogus etymology, pushing the gag back onto X with reaction-video threads. ## Origin On July 2, 2023, X user @Miagothstan posted a picture of Rachel Sennott with the caption "She kinda look like her name is Fatima but in a white way." That single tweet grew past 14 million views over the following year and seeded the nickname inside Sennott fan circles[3]. The gag stayed low-key until November 11, 2024, when @lildicklegend quote-replied a Sennott post with the line that they genuinely thought her name was Fatima, drawing roughly 77,000 likes and 2,000 reposts in a week[4]. That revival set up the Entertainment Tonight moment four days later, which turned the running joke into a full meme cycle[3]. - **Platform:** X / Twitter - **Creator:** @Miagothstan - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview Rachel Sennott's "Fatima" is a vibe-check joke that fans deploy under any photo of the Shiva Baby and Bottoms actress, insisting her face reads as a "Fatima" despite her being a white Jewish woman from Simsbury, Connecticut. The humor leans on the mismatch between the name and the person, and posters typically pair a glam press photo of Sennott with a single-line caption like "a Fatima" or "she looks like a Fatima"[3]. After the November 2024 Entertainment Tonight clip, a second layer appeared: Jordan Firstman's wrong definition that "a Fatima works a 9-to-5" is now quoted back as part of the bit, often screencapped alongside Sennott looking confused[1]. The joke lives almost entirely on X, where reply guys and stan accounts riff on the name whenever a new Sennott photo or interview surfaces[2]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Rachel Sennott's "Fatima"?
