# Riley Dance Riley Dance, also known as Teen Riley Edit, is a scene from the Inside Out spin-off series Dream Productions showing a teenage Riley with bright blue-painted hair dancing at a party. TikToker @alexslly paired the clip with Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' on December 12th, 2024, and within two weeks the moment was a CapCut template users filled with MrBeast, real friends and other animated characters. ## Origin The source scene comes from episode 4 of Dream Productions, a Disney+ spin-off set in the Inside Out world, where a teen version of Riley dances during a dream sequence. YouTube channel The Multiverse Studios uploaded a clean rip of the moment on December 14th, 2024, which pulled roughly 1.5 million views and 22,000 likes inside a month[1]. The meme format itself started two days earlier, on December 12th, 2024, when TikTok user @alexslly posted an edit of the scene set to Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More.' That video drew more than 16 million plays and over one million likes in its first month, making it the earliest fan edit to go viral[2]. Pixar produced the animation, but @alexslly is the creator of the edit template that followed[6]. - **Platform:** Disney+ (source) / TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** @alexslly (earliest viral edit) - **Date:** 2024 ## Overview Riley Dance centers on a short clip of a teenage Riley Andersen from Pixar's Inside Out universe, now with streaks of neon blue dye in her hair, bouncing through an exaggerated dance at what looks like a prom or house party[1]. Edits lean on the contrast between the character's goofy, uninhibited choreography and whatever audio or face is layered on top, with Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' acting as the default soundtrack through most of the TikTok wave[2]. Teen Riley Edit videos usually keep the original animation untouched and either loop the dance for comedic length or cut Riley's figure out so creators can slot a friend, pet or celebrity into her exact pose[3]. The humor sits in the mismatch, a Pixar teen's uncool enthusiasm attached to someone it was never meant for, which is why most entries read as affectionate rather than mocking[5]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Riley Dance?
