# Rosalía Chewing Gum Rosalía Chewing Gum is a viral clip of the Spanish singer strutting across the stage mid-chew while performing 'Bizcochito' at a 2022 concert. After Twitter user latatarosalia posted the footage on July 9th, 2022, the deadpan stare racked up millions of views and spawned the TikTok 'Rosalía Challenge,' where fans mimic her blank gum-chewing swagger. ## Origin On July 9th, 2022, Twitter user latatarosalia posted the clip of Rosalía strutting on stage mid-chew during 'Bizcochito,' with the Spanish caption 'lo que la quiero' (translated from Spanish: 'how I love her')[1]. The tweet pulled roughly 13.2 million video views in four days, which is where the meme's reference footage comes from[5]. The performance itself was part of Rosalía's Motomami World Tour, promoting her 2022 album 'Motomami,' but the fan-shot phone video, not any official clip, became the version that spread[5]. Hours after latatarosalia's post, Twitter user Torikellysweave quote-worthy caption 'She's looks like a yassified version of Jesus' hit roughly 18,800 likes and pushed the clip past Rosalía's own fandom[2]. - **Platform:** Twitter (origin) / TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** latatarosalia (earliest known poster) - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview Rosalía Chewing Gum is a short concert clip from the Motomami World Tour where Rosalía walks across the stage with a flat, unbothered stare while loudly chomping gum to the opening of 'Bizcochito'[1]. The pairing of her expressionless face, the exaggerated jaw motion and the song's clipped reggaeton beat gave the clip an uncanny, almost cartoonish rhythm that made it endlessly captionable[3]. Early Twitter captions treated the video like a reaction GIF, swapping in jokes about everything from 'yassified' Jesus to classroom gum-chewing troublemakers[2][4]. Spanish-speaking users were especially active, with the format often framed as a punchline about defiant students or back-of-the-class energy, keeping the humor close to its native audience even as English captions pulled it wider[4]. Later, the clip migrated to TikTok, where creators stopped captioning the video and started acting it out instead, mimicking Rosalía's stance, pout and stare on camera[7][5]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Rosalía Chewing Gum?
