# Selling Dick Pics
Selling Dick Pics, also known as $10 Ball Pics, started with a June 2019 Reddit post that listed joke prices for genital photos next to a photo of a man leaning on a car. The image macro turned into an exploitable template over the next two years, with Instagram editors replacing the original photo with characters like Mr. House from Fallout: New Vegas and Dragon Ball's Goku Drip.
## Origin
On June 8, 2019, a now-deleted Reddit account posted the image to r/teenagers under the title "hit my DMS"[1]. The photo shows a Black man leaning on a car beneath the words "SELLING DICK PICS," with a tiered price list starting at $10 for ball pics and ending at $40 for silent nut vids[3]. Whether this was the first upload anywhere is unclear[3].
ME.ME archived the image on June 9, 2019[4], and iFunny carried a repost in November of that year[8]. From there the price-list text itself turned into the reusable part of the meme, giving later editors the deadpan menu to attach to any character they wanted.

## Overview
Selling Dick Pics runs on a tiered price menu that starts at $10 for ball pics and climbs toward $50 for "nut vids (screaming)," with specific tiers shifting between remakes[3]. Posters match the copypasta with an unlikely seller such as an anime character or a video game villain, and the humor comes from the mismatch between the deadpan list and whoever gets cast as the vendor[2].
Later edits lean on fictional characters who would never plausibly sell such material, including Dragon Ball cast members and Fallout: New Vegas's Mr. House[5][2]. The caption stays close enough to the 2019 original that the setup reads instantly, which lets each new image carry the gag on a single character change[6].
## How to Use
A typical Selling Dick Pics edit keeps the original tiered price list (often $10 for ball pics, $15 for ball jiggle vids, up through $40 or $50 for "nut vids (screaming)") and places it over a photo of a character who would never actually sell any of it[2]. The common convention is to pick a figure whose dignity or distance from NSFW content makes the pitch absurd, such as an anime hero or a video game NPC[6][7].
