# Tesla Roadster Flip Tesla Roadster Flip is the viral clip of the second-generation Roadster driving upside-down and performing a mid-air kickflip during its October 15th, 2026 unveiling at SpaceX's McGregor, Texas facility[1]. Within days, TikTok creators were cutting the stunt into AI edits and skit videos, with one @krishnak3212 clip hitting 10.9 million views by late October[5]. ## Origin Tesla livestreamed the Roadster unveiling at SpaceX's McGregor, Texas test site on October 15th, 2026, and uploaded the demo video to its official @tesla YouTube channel the same day, where it reached 3.3 million views in roughly ten days[1][8]. The on-stage demonstrations included the inverted-driving ramp run, the cold-gas-thruster kickflip, and the jump over a lineup of other Tesla cars[8]. Later that day, Tesla's X account posted two short cuts of the stunt. The "Do a kickflip!" clip climbed to 28.1 million views and 207,000 likes, while the "Real life, baby" post reached 98.2 million views and 777,000 likes[2][3]. - **Platform:** YouTube / X (official Tesla), TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** Tesla, Inc. - **Date:** 2026 ## Overview Tesla Roadster Flip refers to the stunt footage from the second-generation Roadster debut, in which an uncrewed car drove inverted along a curved ramp using a suction system and then flipped in mid-air with cold-gas thrusters[1]. A separate segment of the same demonstration showed the car jumping a row of parked Tesla vehicles, and both clips were pushed by Tesla's own X account under the captions "Do a kickflip!" and "Real life, baby"[2][3]. As a meme, the clip gets paired with jokes about video-game physics, Rocket League rocket boosts, and action-film car chases. TikTok edits typically overlay the real stunt onto everyday driving scenarios, often with an "AI video" twist that drops the Roadster into traffic, parking lots, or neighborhood streets[5]. The tone sits between genuine awe at the engineering and skepticism about whether any owner will ever actually kickflip their car. ## How to Use A typical Tesla Roadster Flip meme takes the raw stunt footage and recontextualizes it. Common conventions include captioning the clip with a mundane scenario (driving home, picking up groceries), splicing the kickflip into AI-generated street scenes, or comparing the maneuver to a specific game mechanic like a Rocket League aerial. Reaction edits often pair the footage with a line like "new fear unlocked"[5]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Tesla Roadster Flip?
