# The Flash Enters Speed Force During the 2022 Academy Awards, a fan-voted poll named The Flash entering the Speed Force in Zack Snyder's Justice League as the most cheer-worthy moment in cinema history, a result many viewers found absurd. Within hours, Twitter users were ironically tweeting about standing up and cheering for the scene, turning the phrase into a copypasta that mocked both the award and the fan campaign behind it. ## Origin The source clip comes from Zack Snyder's Justice League, released on HBO Max in 2021, where Barry Allen enters the Speed Force, a reality layer that lets him manipulate time, to turn the final battle against Steppenwolf[5]. The meme itself was triggered on March 27, 2022, when the Academy Awards broadcast announced the scene as the winner of its first fan-voted Most Cheer-Worthy Moment In Movies poll, an award that carried no actual statue[2]. The outcome struck many viewers as the product of an organized Snyder-fan voting campaign rather than any mainstream enthusiasm, since the other nominees were far more widely referenced moments like the three Spider-Men meeting in No Way Home and Neo dodging bullets in The Matrix[2]. Mockery began the same night the scene played mid-broadcast[3]. - **Platform:** Academy Awards broadcast / Twitter (viral spread) - **Creator:** Unknown - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview The Flash Enters Speed Force is a copypasta format where posters claim, with heavy irony, that the Zack Snyder's Justice League scene is a treasured cinematic highlight they cheer for every time[3]. Tweets in the format mimic the voice of a sincere superfan, often thanking The Oscars for finally recognizing a moment they say nobody actually brings up in conversation[1]. Typical posts stack escalating claims of emotional investment, such as calling it a number one standing-up-and-cheering moment, while playing on the surreal fact that it won over picks from Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Endgame, Dreamgirls and The Matrix[2]. A secondary joke strain tied the scene to the Will Smith slap of Chris Rock, suggesting The Flash could re-enter the Speed Force and rewind the broadcast[4]. ## How to Use Posts in the format typically open in the voice of a devoted fan, declaring that the writer always stands and cheers whenever The Flash enters Speed Force, then thanking The Oscars for representing people like them. A common convention is to rank the moment above obvious cultural touchstones or to insist the writer talks about it constantly in daily life, with the humor sitting in how plainly untrue those claims are. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is The Flash Enters Speed Force?
