Tourette's Guy
Published October 3, 2026
Tourette's Guy is the online nickname of Danny, a neckbrace-wearing man who shouts invented curses like "fuck salt" and the euphemism "Oh Bob Saget" across a long-running series of home videos1. The clips launched on tourettesguy.com in September 2004 and spread through eBaum's World, YTMND and early YouTube to become one of the signature shock-comedy acts of the mid-2000s internet3.
Overview
Each clip is shot handheld inside Danny's house, with him erupting into surreal insults aimed at family members, pets, bottles of shampoo and boxes of Tony the Tiger cereal4. His vocabulary mixes real profanity with invented compound curses, and recurring bits range from "don't talk shit about Total" to the running insistence that pissing out the window and shitting out the window are two completely different things4. Whether Danny genuinely has Tourette's syndrome or is performing a bit was never confirmed on camera, and that ambiguity is part of the character3.
The lo-fi camcorder footage, long static takes and off-camera relatives putting up with the outbursts gave the series a distinct domestic feel. Danny's shaved head, flannel shirts and foam neck brace, paired with a loud, slurred delivery, became the visual and vocal signature fans quoted back for years1.
