Truth Nuke is a catchphrase and reaction image marking a moment of harsh, exaggerated truth-telling, one step past the older 'truth bomb.' It started as a 2009 website name, spread through right-wing X posts in the late 2010s, and by late 2024 attached to a Soyjak image of a screaming figure vaporized by a nuclear blast.

Overview

Truth Nuke, sometimes stylized 'Trvke,' labels a piece of blunt commentary framed as devastating truth3. The signature visual version pairs a gold 'TRUTH NUKE' top caption with a screaming Cobson Soyjak being vaporized by a nuclear mushroom cloud6.

The tag carries two overlapping identities. In right-wing political circles it first signaled a serious 'gotcha' moment against liberals3. By late 2024 it flipped into ironic territory, applied to obviously absurd claims for comic effect8.
