# Tyler, The Creator Falling From The Sky Tyler, The Creator Falling From The Sky is a video meme that lifts a shot from the 2021 'JUGGERNAUT' music video, where the rapper plummets screaming out of the clouds, and pairs it with the orchestral 'Monsters University' theme. Starting in April 2023, TikTokers greenscreened the falling Tyler over random backgrounds with punchline captions, turning the clip into a reusable reaction template that spread to YouTube Shorts. ## Origin The source clip comes from the 'JUGGERNAUT' music video, uploaded to Tyler, The Creator's YouTube channel on June 25, 2021, where the fall occurs around the 1:18 mark[1]. Tyler shot the sequence as part of the 'CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST' album rollout, and the clip itself sat on YouTube for nearly two years before being pulled for meme use. The earliest known edit came from TikToker @kassiusayres on April 1, 2023, who captioned a greenscreened version 'Bro Tyler dropped yesterday / Tyler:' and set it to the 'Monsters University' theme[4]. That first post earned around 30,100 plays and 5,100 likes within its first month, according to Know Your Meme's tracking[3]. - **Platform:** TikTok (viral spread) / YouTube (source clip) - **Creator:** @kassiusayres - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview The format isolates a roughly two-second shot from Tyler, The Creator's 'JUGGERNAUT' music video in which he tumbles out of the sky, arms flailing, letting out a loud scream[1]. Editors key out the clouds behind him and drop him over a new backdrop, syncing the fall to Randy Newman's bombastic 'Monsters University' theme so the drum hit lines up with his landing[2]. Captions set up the gag in a two-line format. The first line names the context the viewer is supposedly watching, then the Tyler clip plays as the punchline, with the joke being that Tyler himself is the delivery or arrival the caption described[3]. Early iterations leaned on wordplay around the phrase 'Tyler dropped,' pulling double duty for a new album or a sudden entrance[4]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Tyler, The Creator Falling From The Sky?
