# Upper Decky Zynnies, Upper Decky Lip Pillows, Ferda Upper Decky Zynnies, Upper Decky Lip Pillows, Ferda is a TikTok catchphrase that creator @cheddy222 posted on August 23, 2022, bending a woodchuck tongue twister into a string of frat and hockey slang[1]. By late September 2022, Zyn-pouch skits and women lampooning frat-bro speech were logging millions of plays on college TikTok[3][4]. ## Origin On August 23, 2022, TikToker @cheddy222 posted the source clip, singing: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could rip upper decky zynnies, upper decky lip pillows, ferda, ferda!"[1] Within roughly two months the video logged over 3 million plays and more than 300,000 likes[1]. The "ferda" line traces back to Letterkenny, where season 8 episode 4 was titled "Ferda," a hockey abbreviation of "for the boys"[6]. Zyn pouches and the "upper decky" placement were already fixtures of college frat and hockey chatter before @cheddy222 stitched the terms into a woodchuck rhyme[6]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** @cheddy222 - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview The catchphrase works as a sound and a slang quiz at the same time. Creators lip-sync @cheddy222's audio over visual gags about Zyn pouches or frat behavior, while comment sections argue over what each word actually means[6]. "Zynnies" refers to Zyn-brand nicotine pouches, "upper decky" names the gum spot behind the top lip where users park a pouch, and "ferda" is hockey slang for "for the boys," lifted from the Canadian sitcom Letterkenny[6]. Posts split cleanly between two camps: insiders flexing fluency with Zyn-can props or hockey jerseys, and outsiders filming confused reactions to the chant[2]. A third thread emerged quickly, with women reciting the audio to mock the way frat and hockey guys talk[4]. ## How to Use Posts typically pair @cheddy222's audio with a visual tied to one of the terms, often a Zyn can, a hockey locker-room shot, or a staged frat moment[3]. A common convention is to add a POV caption that forces the viewer into the scene, such as a date filmed through an unimpressed girlfriend's eyes[4]. Users outside the subculture often film themselves hearing the chant for the first time and reacting with confusion. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Upper Decky Zynnies, Upper Decky Lip Pillows, Ferda?
