# Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!! DeviantArt user DJTrickyOg posted a cartoon of a bandana-wearing pitbull saying 'Waiter! Waiter! More toddlers please!' on November 14th, 2022, riffing on the running pitbulls-and-toddlers joke online[1]. The template spread across Instagram, Reddit and Twitter through 2023, with users replacing 'toddlers' with yaoi, League of Legends characters and historical references[6]. ## Origin The underlying photograph was posted to Instagram on October 10th, 2020 by @fredefrida, the account documenting a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Frida sitting on a concrete block in a bandana[2]. Two years later, on November 14th, 2022, DeviantArt user DJTrickyOg drew a cartoon pitbull based on that photo, giving it folded arms and a speech bubble reading 'Waiter! Waiter! More toddlers please!'[1]. The drawing openly nodded to the toddlers-vs-pitbulls meme cluster already circulating at the time[3]. - **Platform:** DeviantArt (origin) / Instagram, Reddit, Twitter (viral spread) - **Creator:** DJTrickyOg (DeviantArt) - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview Each edit places a cartoon pitbull in a restaurant with folded arms, demanding 'more X please' from an off-screen waiter where X is whatever the poster wants in excess[1]. Some edits leave DJTrickyOg's pitbull in place and change only the request, while others redraw the character entirely, as @Iccuraus did when they replaced the dog with Fortnite's Meow Skulls[5]. The humor rests on the macabre premise of the original line, since 'more toddlers' plays on the stereotype of pitbulls as dangerous dogs, so each new version tends to pick a desire the audience would find disturbing or embarrassing to admit[3]. Tone across edits runs from shitpost absurdity to fandom in-jokes. A late-February 2023 Instagram repost by beefchongle traded 'toddlers' for 'yaoi,' drawing anime fans who recognized the horny-urgency gag[6]. League of Legends meme pages used the same beat for an edit about receiving more jungle ganks, which the League of Legends Community Facebook page reshared in June 2023[8]. ## How to Use Edits usually leave the 'Waiter! Waiter! More ___ please!!' sentence intact and either reuse DJTrickyOg's original pitbull or substitute a new character while leaving the restaurant setup implied[1]. The blank after 'more' is typically filled with something the poster is embarrassed to want, something macabre, or a fandom-specific obsession, as in beefchongle's yaoi edit[6]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Waiter!
