# Wassup In a Minute Wassup Wassup In a Minute Wassup is a TikTok animation trend from late October 2026 where Blue Lock anime characters in designer streetwear dance to a Jersey club flip of Drake and Jhené Aiko's From Time. Within two weeks, Roblox avatars and non-anime edits were running the same loop. ## Origin On October 23rd, 2026, TikToker @ristyisvalid posted the edit that kicked off the trend: three Blue Lock characters, dressed in @aka_zayy's streetwear art, bouncing in time with Zbee's Jersey club flip of From Time[1]. The post passed 2.6 million views within about a week[4]. The backing track is a Jersey club remix of Drake and Jhené Aiko's 2013 song From Time, produced by Zbee and uploaded to YouTube before the trend blew up[2]. @aka_zayy is credited inside @ristyisvalid's video for the character designs, which drew the Blue Lock cast in brands and designer fits rather than their anime uniforms[4]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** @ristyisvalid (earliest viral edit); character art by @aka_zayy - **Date:** 2026 ## Overview The trend pairs still artwork of anime characters, most often from the soccer anime Blue Lock, with a looping Jersey club flip of Drake and Jhené Aiko's From Time that chants the hook "What's up, in a minute, what's up"[2]. The characters are drawn in head-to-toe designer streetwear, and the edit syncs their swagger to the stuttered vocal, so each "wassup" lands on a bounce or a pose[1]. The most-shared versions use art by TikTok illustrator @aka_zayy, whose Blue Lock lineup set the visual template for the trend[1]. As edits piled up, creators swapped in other characters, real people, and even Roblox avatars running the same beat drop[6]. A CapCut template let anyone drop their own art or clips into the sync without editing from scratch[3]. ## How It Spread Through late October and early November 2026, TikTok filled with versions of the edit using the same Jersey club loop[4]. On October 27th, 2026, @neilpotts8 posted a walkthrough that showed viewers how to run the trend with a CapCut template, and that tutorial passed 1.8 million views inside six days[3]. That same day, @proving_art posted their own take on the format, which picked up more than 345,000 views in six days[5]. By October 30th, 2026, the trend crossed into Roblox: @kuratii_ staged a version with Roblox avatars performing the dance, hitting about 407,000 views in three days[6]. As the format spread, creators swapped Blue Lock art for other anime characters and real-person edits while keeping the Zbee loop in place[4]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Wassup In a Minute Wassup?
