# Wild Side Wild Side, also known as the Green Dress Girl or "Benjamins Deli" TikTok Trend, is a dance challenge set to JRitt's September 2023 remix of Ice Spice's "Deli" and Puff Daddy's "All About the Benjamins." Dancers hold a casual pose through the opening bars, then switch to aggressive moves when the beat drops. By late October 2023, @lxurend's twerk video in a green dress hit 29.6 million views on TikTok and renamed the whole trend around her. ## Origin On September 25th, 2023, TikTok musician @jritt posted the "Benjamins Deli" audio, a remix that layered Ice Spice's "Deli" over Puff Daddy's 1997 single "All About the Benjamins"[4]. The audio sat around TikTok for about two weeks before anyone built a dance on it. The earliest widely-shared dance video came from @sw_dede on October 7th, 2023, showing two men executing a specific routine that leaned into the beat switch, hitting about 3 million views in three weeks[1]. On October 10th, @mark_e_04 posted a solo take that reached roughly 5.9 million views in just over a fortnight and locked in the casual-then-aggressive structure other users copied[2]. A few days later on October 13th, @juanitaa02.xx added a staging twist, cutting the room lights every time the beat dropped while friends surrounded her with handheld lights, racking roughly 10.3 million views in two weeks[3]. - **Platform:** TikTok - **Creator:** JRitt (audio); @sw_dede (earliest known dance video) - **Date:** 2023 ## Overview Wild Side is organized around a sudden energy flip in the audio. Participants start loose and understated through the Ice Spice "Deli" sample, then slam into harder choreography the moment the "All About the Benjamins" piano and horns punch in[1]. Common takes include lighting cues, friends crowding the frame on the drop, and sharper hip movement or twerking during the switch[3]. After TikToker @lxurend posted her green-dress take on October 20th, 2023, the comment sections of the trend turned into a thirst-watch, with viewers typing "gyatt" and asking who she was under reposts of her clip and under unrelated versions of the dance[5][4]. That reaction gave the format its second name, Green Dress Girl, which stuck alongside the original "Benjamins Deli" label[4]. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Wild Side?
