# You Broke My Toy
Aiden's drawing from October 2023 showed a stereotypical Chad telling a classmate to lift weights after breaking her toy, posted to Reddit's /r/okbuddyretard as a fake graded worksheet with a red 'F' from 'Ms. Bailey.' The absurd student-answer setup inspired months of edits, and by February 2024 u/ZTE50 returned with 'Homander,' a version featuring Homelander killing the broken-toy kid that sent the template viral on Instagram and /r/shitposting.
## Origin
On October 2, 2023, Redditor u/ZTE50 posted three fake graded worksheets to /r/okbuddyretard, each marked with a red 'F' from a teacher named Ms. Bailey[1]. The most-shared sheet asked Aiden to imagine a broken toy and write an apology; Aiden instead drew a bulked-up Chad advising the complaining girl to 'lift weights.' Over seven months the thread collected more than 8,000 upvotes[3].
All three worksheets presented Aiden's responses as if the student had taken each prompt entirely literally, which fit /r/okbuddyretard's house humor around failed-child-behavior shitposts. u/ZTE50 later returned to the format in February 2024 with the Homander edit, cementing their link to the template[2].

## Overview
Each edit of the template preserves the same childish worksheet layout: a prompt from Ms. Bailey asking Aiden to draw and write how someone might apologize after breaking a classmate's toy, Aiden's deadpan answer scrawled in pencil, and a bright red 'F' in the corner[3]. The joke lives in the mismatch between the elementary-school assignment and whatever violent, horny, or chronically-online response Aiden supplies, like a Chad telling the girl to lift weights instead of apologizing[1]. Pop-culture edits replace Aiden's drawing with recognizable characters, so a Breaking Bad version has the Salamanca cousins answering with a kitchen axe[6], and the Homander version has Homelander simply vaporizing the complaining child[2].
Most posts preserve the exact same red-pen F mark and the same pencil handwriting style, which gives the format its template-like consistency. Creators change only the drawing panel and the sentence underneath. Even heavily reworked versions retain the Ms. Bailey header to signal that this is still an Aiden worksheet[7].
## How to Use
Common versions preserve the Ms. Bailey header, the pencil-handwriting answer box, and the red 'F' mark so the sheet still reads as an Aiden worksheet[3]. Creators typically replace only the drawing panel and the written answer, often with a violent, sexual, or absurdly off-topic pop-culture reference. Humor usually depends on how far Aiden's answer departs from an appropriate second-grade apology, as in the Homander edit[2].
