# Yuki Suou Yuki Suou is a character from the 2024 anime Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, also known as Roshidere, who became a seasonal waifu after an episode two scene where she wakes up her brother. By September 2024, TikTok fan-edits of her fourth-wall-breaking moments and lewd manga lines were racking up tens of thousands of likes. ## Origin Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, shortened to Roshidere, began airing on July 3rd, 2024, with its second episode following on July 10th[2]. The episode included a scene of Yuki waking up her older brother Masachika, which supplied the core footage for the earliest viral edits. That same day, TikTok user @getouux uploaded a fan-edit combining Yuki's various scenes from the episode with a slowed version of Edward Maya's "Stereo Love," which earned over 810,000 likes in the two months after posting[1]. The video is credited by Know Your Meme as the clip that kick-started the Yuki Suou appreciation online[2]. - **Platform:** Anime (source) / TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** Unknown - **Date:** 2024 ## Overview Yuki Suou, also known as the little sister of Masachika Kuze from Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, became a 2024 seasonal waifu through short TikTok edits set to slowed audio[1]. Fans gravitated to her for two reasons: her fourth-wall-breaking glances at the camera mid-scene and the directly translated manga lines that sound unusually blunt in English[2]. A typical Yuki edit stitches together her softer wake-up scene with later clips where she turns toward the viewer and speaks past her brother, often paired with a slowed pop track[1]. Other posts isolate out-of-pocket quotes from the manga, letting the subtitle do the comedic lifting against a short loop of her face[3]. The audio choice, the direct address, and the sibling framing give these edits a distinct texture compared to standard anime AMV uploads. ## How It Spread After the July 10th wake-up scene aired, fan attention stayed with Yuki across the rest of the summer 2024 season, especially around her bluntly translated manga quotes[2]. On August 24th, 2024, TikTok user @kurona_ytb posted an edit featuring one of her best-known manga lines, where Yuki tells her brother to "give your lil sis a squeeze," which earned over 28,000 likes[3]. Her fourth-wall-breaking appeal was captured in a September 21st, 2024 TikTok by @.nickzss_, in which Yuki turns from her brother to speak directly to the audience; the clip earned 45,000 likes within a week[4]. Additional edits followed from accounts including @anigimi[5], @mirasuwaa[6], @snivzc[7], and @l3nriecn[8], all reusing short cuts from the anime with slowed audio and subtitle gags. The pattern settled into a recognizable TikTok format by autumn 2024: a few seconds of Yuki's face, a slowed track, and either a direct-to-camera glance or a translated manga line as the punchline[2]. ## How to Use A Yuki Suou edit typically pulls short cuts of her face, especially moments where she looks toward the camera or whispers to her brother, and lays them over slowed audio. Posts often include a translated manga line as burned-in subtitle text, letting the joke land on the written line rather than the voice acting. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Yuki Suou?
