# Yummers Yummers is a catchphrase from The Boys season 3 premiere in June 2022, taken from a scene where Homelander mocks A-Train by poking his stomach and saying the word before calling him fat. Edits of the clip bounced around /r/OkBuddyFresca for two years before TikTok and X turned it into a 2024 wave of belly-poke fan art and lo-fi video remixes. ## Origin The scene aired on June 3rd, 2022, in the first episode of The Boys season 3, with Antony Starr as Homelander and Jessie T. Usher as A-Train[3]. Clips of the moment were uploaded to YouTube the same month, including a cut titled 'Homelander says Yummers' that pulled over 1.4 million views in the two years after upload[6]. The earliest known meme reusing the line was posted by Redditor u/Farma_Karm145 to /r/OkBuddyFresca on July 15th, 2022, where it reached about 100 upvotes[1]. Nobody is credited as the inventor of the format; the subreddit community built it out from the clip over the following year. - **Platform:** The Boys (TV) / Reddit and TikTok (viral spread) - **Creator:** Unknown - **Date:** 2022 ## Overview Yummers is a one-word catchphrase lifted from The Boys season 3 premiere, where Homelander asks A-Train what he is drinking, hears it is a milkshake, chirps 'Yummers,' then jabs A-Train's stomach and calls him fat[3]. The line is delivered with a sing-song condescension that turned a 10-second beat into reusable sound-and-gesture bait, and the earliest meme uses on Reddit paired it with absurd stomach-poke stills from unrelated media[1]. Most Yummers posts fall into two camps. The first is lo-fi video edits of the original clip, often slowed, pitched down or compressed into a wet, oversaturated loop so Homelander's finger-poke lands over and over[2]. The second is fan art of a character poking another character's belly with the caption typed below, which spread through furry and anime art circles on X during the summer of 2024[4][5]. The joke lives in the gesture more than the word, so artists treat the belly-prod and milkshake prop as the real template. ## How to Use A typical Yummers post takes the audio or screenshot of Homelander's poke and swaps A-Train for another character, with the caption 'Yummers' sitting alone under the image. Artists often draw a hand entering frame to prod a stomach while the character sips a milkshake, keeping the two visual anchors from the original scene. ## Frequently Asked Questions ### What is Yummers?
