Asmongold's Bedroom, also known as Asmongold's House, refers to viral photos and clips documenting the filthy state of Twitch streamer Asmongold's living space. The joke began in June 2018 after a Reddit user shared pictures of his trash-strewn room to r/NeckbeardNests, and surged again in February 2024 when cockroaches were caught crawling on him mid-broadcast. By August 2024, a fake tweet about a PowerWash Simulator DLC drew more than 142,000 likes.

Overview

Posts filed under Asmongold's Bedroom / Asmongold's House center on photos and video stills of trash piles, soiled laundry, uneaten food containers, and visible insects inside the room where Twitch personality Asmongold broadcasts1. Humor on the topic hinges on contrast: a top-earning streamer worth millions working from a space viewers describe as unlivable. Commenters often splice cleaning-game footage over his webcam angle, or caption screenshots of his face with reactions to his own clutter.

Later posts lean into the cockroach angle after a February 2024 livestream clip went viral on X2. Fans produce mock house tours, Photoshop his furniture into unrelated media, and run bits about hazmat suits and exterminators. The format works as both a jab at Asmongold personally and a wider joke about streamer hygiene stereotypes3.

The earliest documented discussion of Asmongold's bedroom traces to June 18, 2018, when Reddit user @Liv-dangerously posted photos to r/NeckbeardNests under the title "Have Asmongold's room photos ever made it here?"1. The thread collected 391 upvotes and 56 comments over the following six years. Asmongold, real name Zack, is a World of Warcraft streamer with a large Twitch and YouTube following, and the pictures contrasted his sizable platform with soda bottles, food wrappers, and clutter visible around his streaming setup3.
