Overview

Cassie Hiding In Bathtub, also known as Me When The Doordash Person Knocks, works as a reaction macro paired with 'me when [the small thing I cannot cope with]' captions2. Sydney Sweeney appears in profile with her palm clamped over her mouth and eyes wide, which gives the image elastic range from mild social anxiety to full avoidant panic1.

Captions typically describe a specific, mundane dread, like opening a shared Google Doc to find an editor already inside making live changes3. Visual edits also composite Cassie into other hiding spots, from a Trojan Horse illustration to the pseudo-egg carrier Lady Gaga arrived in at the 2011 Grammy Awards7.

How to Use This Meme

More elaborate versions replace the bathtub with another hiding spot through photo edits or physical recreations, so the joke still tracks even when Cassie herself is not in frame7.
