Posters typically keep the lowercase caption and the open-palm pose while replacing the character, as @sunrisemagician did with Riku from Kingdom Hearts and privategoblinparts did with a Dungeon Meshi lion.

Overview

Fan art of a soft-smiling anime character extending an open hand drives the joke. A typical post crops close to the character's smile and outstretched palm, with the lowercase caption "lets take ibuprofen together" set below in plain Tumblr body text1. The format sits near My Little PogChamp, where anime characters pose with meme-ready gestures and short captions3.

Remixes keep the hand-out pose and change the character. Riku from Kingdom Hearts offering his hand to Sora5, an anthro lion from Dungeon Meshi7 and a glitter rework of the Benigyokuzui original8 all repeat the gesture without touching the caption. The tone stays warm and tired, as if the character is bonding with the viewer over a shared migraine.

How to Use This Meme

Posters typically replace the character with another anime or manga figure in a similar hand-out pose while keeping the lowercase caption word-for-word. The pose matters more than the series, so an anthro lion, a Kingdom Hearts protagonist and the original Benigyokuzui art all read as the same joke7 5.
