Overview

Boarposting Bobbyposting is a 4chan /tv/ board tradition centered on Robert Baratheon, the drunken king from HBO's Game of Thrones adaptation of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire4. Posters call the character 'Bobby B' and pair screenshots with image macros featuring glowing eyes and heavy motion blur in the style of 'I Am Growing Stronger' edits2. The recurring vocabulary leans hard on two words: 'whore,' which Baratheon uses constantly on screen, and 'boar,' the animal that gored him during the hunt that killed him3.

The format sits alongside other /tv/ obsessions like Baneposting and Sheevposting, sharing the same board culture of turning a single character's dialogue into an in-joke language2. Recurring /got/ threads collect Bobby B image edits, screencaps, and quote spam whenever the topic comes up3.
