Overview

Daniel Larson X Joshua Block World Of T Shirts refers to the May 2023 in-person meetup between TikTok lolcows Daniel Larson and Joshua Block, better known as World of T-shirts (@worldoftshirts), at a Manhattan Starbucks3. The collab was the payoff of nearly two years of fan-manufactured beef, where audiences fed Larson false information about Block to bait call-out videos and push both sides toward an actual confrontation in New York City1. The final sit-down was brokered by TikToker Michael Quinn (@thisismichaelquinn) and pulled millions of plays within hours2.

The event is remembered as one of the stranger AIOPM (Actually I Only Post Memes) crossover moments on TikTok, mixing a scripted 'boxing match' bit, real-life ambush anxiety, and a low-key Starbucks conversation between two of the platform's most argued-about creators5.

The dynamic started in mid-2021, when Larson's fans began feeding him false info about Joshua Block. Larson replied with call-out clips on his since-deleted @daniellarsonsuperstar account, including one where he sang JAY-Z's 'Empire State Of Mind,' a song tied to Block's Times Square videos. That clip was mirrored on May 26th, 2021 by TikToker @daniellarsonsuperfans24. Later that summer, screenshots posted to /r/Daniellarson showed Block distancing himself from Larson through a since-deleted video from his @thestarbucksclub backup account1.

The beef escalated on November 22nd, 2022, when Block posted a TikTok captioned 'Daniel Larson, I Challenge You To A Boxing Match in Times Square,' which pulled roughly 917,600 plays and 129,700 likes within five months3.

On March 1st, 2023, Larson replied from his @daniellarsonnyc account, saying he'd fly to New York City; Quinn stitched back the next day, offering to pick him up at the airport2.

On April 4th, 2023, Redditor Ok_Book_7521 posted a clip to /r/Daniellarson titled 'IN THE BIG APPLE' showing Larson in a car driving through New York, pulling 440+ upvotes within a day and getting reposted to TikTok for another 43,600 plays1. Two days later, footage from Larson's Live showed him hospitalized with a nose bandage, claiming he was 'assaulted by two fans' inside 24 hours of arriving in the city5. Block taunted the injury in a TikTok that pulled 228,900 plays overnight3.
