Overview

Why You Bulleh Me, also written as "Why You Bully Me" or "Why U Bulleh Meh," is a meme based on an AI-generated photorealistic version of the Forever Alone Rage Comic face. In the new form, the face appears as a real-looking man with watery eyes pleading "Why you bully me?"1 The phonetic spelling "bulleh me" mimics the whimpering voice used in the AI video clips.

The meme sits next to the similar Realistic Troll Face trend, and shares the same prank-style format where the AI image is shown on a teacher's screen, in an email, or over a TikTok comment4. Two flavors do most of the work: still images used as reaction shots, and short AI videos where the face speaks the catchphrase or sings remixed versions of it2.

The exact origin of the realistic Forever Alone face is unconfirmed4. The earliest known post using both the face and the "why you bulleh me" phrase came from Instagram user @priimolaughs on May 22nd, 2026, a prank clip showing the AI face inside an email to a teacher reading "el teach, why do i have el bad grade, why yo bulleh meh." It rode in on the back of the wider Realistic Troll Face wave, which started going viral on Instagram and TikTok in late April 2026 with AI videos of a photorealistic Trollface introducing itself as "the most famous man on the internet"4.

How to Use This Meme

Posters typically pair the realistic Forever Alone image or an AI video of the face with a relatable grievance, often a bad grade from a teacher, a friend roasting them, or any minor offense. The common convention is to write the catchphrase "why you bulleh me" (or a phonetic variant) as the caption, the on-screen text, or the AI voiceover2. Prank versions often show the face opened in an email or hidden in a screen recording, copying the format that the Realistic Troll Face trend made popular5.
