Overview

If It Was Written Like Helluva Boss / By Vivziepop is a video edit format where creators take scenes from family shows or stylized animation and overdub them with constant profanity and sexual innuendo in the tone of Helluva Boss5. The joke mocks the writing habits of VivziePop's web series, which critics argue leans on shock humor and crude asides to carry its scripts6. Edits layer frantic cursing and sex references over otherwise innocent kid-show dialogue1.

Typical entries pick a wholesome or stylized source like SpongeBob SquarePants or The Amazing Digital Circus and splice the audio with inserted gags that break character tone2. Some posters use the phrasing 'if it was written by VivziePop' instead of 'like Helluva Boss', with both labels circulating together through December 20237.
