Overview

MrBeast Rap, also called the MrLean Song, is the name for a rap track and music video in which YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson raps as Hood MrBeast, a bejeweled, cash-flashing alter ego better known online as MrLean3. The verse sits on top of Lil Baby's "Dead Fresh," with MrBeast trading bars about his wealth and his large-scale philanthropy projects rather than the usual rap boasts3.

The bit works because MrLean is already a running joke on TikTok. Since early 2026, users had been posting exaggerated edits of MrBeast styled as a stereotypical rapper, draped in chains and fanning stacks of bills3. When Donaldson leaned into the character himself on a real rap song, the meme flipped from a fan-made caricature into something the subject was now performing straight to camera, which is what sent the clip and follow-up reactions across TikTok in the days after.

The MrLean persona started as a TikTok bit in 2025, where creators depicted MrBeast as a flashy rapper covered in jewelry and cash3. It stayed a fan-driven joke until August 30th, 2026, when MrBeast posted the origin video to his official TikTok account @mrbeast, replying to a commenter who had asked whether he would ever rap as MrLean1.

That post is the full remixed track with Lil Baby, framed as a music video with MrBeast in character as Hood MrBeast1. Within three days it pulled in more than 51.6 million views and 10.1 million likes, according to KYM's tally of the post3.

How It Spread

Reaction and remix videos hit TikTok almost immediately. Later on August 30th, 2026, TikTok user @musicalmastery posted an edit of the original clip that pulled over 2.2 million views and 255,800 likes in three days2.

On August 31st, 2026, TikTok user @ilovejaysquared posted a reaction to the MrBeast and Lil Baby video that gathered more than 4.9 million views and 903,500 likes in two days4. On September 1st, 2026, @prodsims posted an FL Studio remix of the song that reached over 980,900 views and 157,500 likes in a day5, and TikTok user @macdannyyy uploaded a live reaction the same day that got past 1.6 million views and 170,000 likes in 24 hours6.

Other creators kept the format going with their own MrLean edits and skit variations across the same window78, keeping the character in the TikTok For You page rotation into early September 2026.

How to Use This Meme

Most MrLean posts fall into three buckets: reactions to the original MrBeast and Lil Baby video, edits that recut the verse over new visuals, and FL Studio-style remixes of the beat. Creators typically play up the contrast between MrBeast's clean-cut YouTube image and the chains-and-cash rapper caricature, often quoting the philanthropy-themed bars over unrelated footage.
