Overview

The 'Zoe Kalotheos My Gf Has A Pouch Like Pic Post' is a screenshot meme built around an anonymous April 2023 thread on 4chan's /fit/ board, in which the poster shared a photo of two women in tight dresses, circled one woman's midsection in red, and asked whether surgery was the only fix for his girlfriend's 'pouch'2. The women in the image were widely identified online as Jessie Fox and Zoe Kalotheos3.

The post itself is the meme. It is passed around as a static screenshot rather than a remix template, and the recurring joke is the disbelieving reaction to a boyfriend describing a very average stomach as a medical problem1. Kalotheos' stomach was later relabeled online as an example of a 'Venus Tummy'3.

The underlying photo first surfaced on 9GAG on April 9, 2021, uploaded under the title 'Good Lord!' and picking up around 300 upvotes over the next four years3. Two years later, on April 10, 2023, an anonymous user on 4chan's /fit/ board reposted the image with a red circle drawn around Kalotheos' stomach and the caption, 'My gf has a pouch like pic and it doesn't seem to go away no matter how hard she hits the gym. Is surgery my only hope?'2. That thread pulled more than 160 replies before falling off the board.

How It Spread

On April 12, 2023, Imgur user zoraniko re-uploaded a censored copy of the 4chan screenshot, which built up over 121,000 views and 1,500 upvotes across the following two years4. The bigger wave came on March 15, 2025, when X user @KILLTOPARTY posted the uncensored screenshot with the caption 'Why do all women insist on skin tight clothing?', pulling over 14,000 likes and 11,000 reposts within six months5. The image landed on /r/moreplatesmoredates the same day under the title 'How to fix this pouch?', collecting more than 710 upvotes6.

On March 16, 2025, X user @FeralPHunter quote-tweeted the post with 'so many men on here are actually gay', which grew to roughly 761,000 likes and 33,000 reposts7. The screenshot was also reposted to /r/BlatantMisogyny that day with the caption 'But she's so pretty. Hope she finds a better guy'8. Three days later, The Mary Sue covered the pile-on in an article titled 'Men are showing how much they dislike women by disgustingly commenting on our bodies'1.

The story had a second life in September 2025 when a side-by-side of Kalotheos, contrasting the original 'pouch' photo with a much thinner bikini image, spread on 4chan's /int/ board on September 172. Reposts to /r/moreplatesmoredates on September 19 collected over 1,100 upvotes in four days, with top comments including 'Them titties are as deflated as my hope for the future'6. On September 23, X user @MadsPosting cropped the same comparison alongside the caption 'Ban Tylenol? We should ban Ozempic', tying the meme to the wider Ozempic debate7.

How to Use This Meme

The image is typically shared as-is, either the original circled screenshot or the later before-and-after Ozempic comparison, most often as a quote-tweet or reply setting up a reaction to how the boyfriend framed his girlfriend's body5. It is a screenshot meme, not a customizable template, so 'usage' online is mostly commentary about the post rather than remixes of it1.
