Malfoid / Female Draco Malfoy, also known as Fem Malfoy or Draconia Malfoid, is the fandom nickname for a gender-swapped drawing of Harry Potter's Draco Malfoy. The format blew up on X / Twitter in late September 2026 as artists posted illustrations of a snobby teenage-girl version of the Slytherin heir, with top posts clearing tens of thousands of likes in days2.

Overview

Malfoid art typically keeps Draco's signature platinum-blonde hair, Slytherin robes, and the same smug or pouty expression the character wears in canon, redrawn as a girl or young woman2. Many pieces drop her into familiar Harry Potter situations: mocking Harry, feuding with Hermione Granger over him, or sulking after being brushed off4.

The nickname fuses "Malfoy" with "foid," an incel abbreviation of "femoid" used to demean women3. Despite the loaded etymology, most of the X posts play the character for romantic and comedic bait rather than mockery, and artists have given her first-name variations like Draconia7.

One of the earliest notable fan arts showing Draco as a girl came on March 10, 2024, when X user @grizz056 posted two pieces captioned "If Malfoy was a girl," pulling over 60,000 likes and 6,400 reposts across the next two years1. The piece is credited as an early seed for the gender-swapped Draco idea, though the specific "Malfoid" label did not take hold until a wider art wave more than a year later in September 20263.
