Vegeta Cult
Published October 22, 2026
Vegeta Cult is a TikTok group from summer 2021 whose members photoshopped Vegeta's green SAB jacket from Dragon Ball Super: Broly onto anime characters and reaction images for their profile pictures. The trend came out of TikToker @____vegetatard's June 15th, 2021 return-from-ban video and grew into coordinated follow chains and comment-section raids. By early August 2021, swarms on a Charli D'Amelio video drove Dexerto and Distractify to publish explainers on how the cult worked.
Overview
To join the group, a user changed their TikTok profile picture to an edit of an anime character, meme figure or celebrity wearing Vegeta's green jacket, the SAB coat he wears in Dragon Ball Super: Broly2. Edits ranged from clean composites of anime protagonists in the jacket to messier photoshops slapped onto reaction images2. Original art was fine, but recycling someone else's jacketed character also counted.
Once inside, members followed each other to inflate counts, then descended on big creators' comment sections with lines about the cult's unstoppable power and a coming takeover of the app1. The vibe leaned into Vegeta's Saiyan-prince posturing, mixing Dragon Ball references with the raid-based humor that drove earlier TikTok groups like the Hamster Cult and the Lana Cult1.

How to Use This Meme
Typical practice: pick an anime character, meme or celebrity, edit Vegeta's green SAB jacket from Dragon Ball Super: Broly onto them, and set the result as your TikTok PFP2. From there, members commonly followed back other cult accounts and chimed into large creators' comment sections about the group's power1.
