What is Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!!?

An exploitable image macro showing a cartoon pitbull with the speech bubble 'Waiter! Waiter! More toddlers please!' that gets rewritten by replacing 'toddlers' with whatever the poster wants.

Where did Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!! come from?

DeviantArt user DJTrickyOg posted the original drawing on November 14th, 2022, basing the pitbull on an October 2020 Instagram photo of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Frida from the @fredefrida account.

What does Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!! mean?

It leans on the stereotype that pitbulls attack small children, so the dog openly asking for more toddlers reads as a dark gag, and replacement edits fill the slot with anything else that would be awkward or disturbing to order at a restaurant.

How do you use Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!!?

Leave the sentence frame intact and either reuse DJTrickyOg's pitbull or substitute a new character, filling the blank with an embarrassing craving or a fandom reference, as in the yaoi edit by beefchongle in February 2023.

Is Waiter! Waiter! More Toddlers Please!! still popular?

Most documented remixes come from late 2022 and 2023 across Instagram, Reddit and Twitter. Frida, whose photo inspired the drawing, died on June 30th, 2025, and tributes appeared on the @fredefrida Instagram page.

DeviantArt user DJTrickyOg posted a cartoon of a bandana-wearing pitbull saying 'Waiter! Waiter! More toddlers please!' on November 14th, 2022, riffing on the running pitbulls-and-toddlers joke online1. The template spread across Instagram, Reddit and Twitter through 2023, with users replacing 'toddlers' with yaoi, League of Legends characters and historical references6.

Overview

Each edit places a cartoon pitbull in a restaurant with folded arms, demanding 'more X please' from an off-screen waiter where X is whatever the poster wants in excess1. Some edits leave DJTrickyOg's pitbull in place and change only the request, while others redraw the character entirely, as @Iccuraus did when they replaced the dog with Fortnite's Meow Skulls5. The humor rests on the macabre premise of the original line, since 'more toddlers' plays on the stereotype of pitbulls as dangerous dogs, so each new version tends to pick a desire the audience would find disturbing or embarrassing to admit3.

Tone across edits runs from shitpost absurdity to fandom in-jokes. A late-February 2023 Instagram repost by beefchongle traded 'toddlers' for 'yaoi,' drawing anime fans who recognized the horny-urgency gag6. League of Legends meme pages used the same beat for an edit about receiving more jungle ganks, which the League of Legends Community Facebook page reshared in June 20238.

In April 2023, Instagram page leagueoflegendsmeemes released a League of Legends version7 that the League of Legends Community Facebook page reshared in June, where it earned about 1,800 reactions8.

Frida herself died on June 30th, 2025, and the @fredefrida farewell post drew over 34,300 likes within months, with commenters mentioning the meme as how they first met her10.

How to Use This Meme

Edits usually leave the 'Waiter! Waiter! More ___ please!!' sentence intact and either reuse DJTrickyOg's original pitbull or substitute a new character while leaving the restaurant setup implied1. The blank after 'more' is typically filled with something the poster is embarrassed to want, something macabre, or a fandom-specific obsession, as in beefchongle's yaoi edit6.
