Overview

The meme centers on a handicraft figurine of a cartoonish girl with an exaggeratedly large behind hauling her belongings out of frame1. The sculpture's proportions are the whole joke, turning a mundane exit into a comedic huff. Twitter/X user @Denci99 fused the image with the line 'Fine, I'll just take my things and leave,' pairing the sculpted pose with a bit of wounded dialogue2.

Artists then adopted the setup as a redraw challenge, swapping in their favorite fictional characters while keeping the same back-turned silhouette and the caption intact3. Anime, video game, and VTuber fandoms ran with the template, producing character-specific versions that lean on the oversized-rear silhouette as the visual punchline4.

The post pulled in more than 389,000 likes within a week, giving the sculpture reach well beyond the account's usual craft audience.

The figurine sat as a niche art post until Twitter/X user @Denci99 posted an edit on September 3, 2026 with the caption 'Fine, I'll just take my things and leave'2. That tweet racked up more than 13,000 likes and 2.7 million views, reframing the sculpture as a shareable joke about dramatic exits5.

How It Spread

Artists on Twitter/X picked up @Denci99's edit as a redraw reference starting in early September 20262. The framing, back turned, oversized rear, belongings in hand, worked as an easy silhouette to graft onto existing characters, and fan artists took the invitation.

On September 6, 2026, Twitter/X user @shajjussy posted fan art of Varka from Genshin Impact reworked in the figurine's pose, drawing more than 28,000 likes and 460,000 views over three days3. A day later, @JeanaDraws uploaded a version featuring VTuber Mint Fantome, which pulled in over 13,000 likes and 152,000 views in two days4.

Character redraws quickly became the dominant format, with fandoms treating the figurine as a template for any character known for a notable backside5.

How to Use This Meme

The template typically involves redrawing a character from anime, games, or VTuber content in the same pose as the original figurine, back turned and hauling an oversized rear off-frame3. Posts often keep the caption 'Fine, I'll just take my things and leave' or a close variant to preserve the huffy-exit tone2.
